Of course, this site hasn't been updated for awhile and I am going to continue updating for quite awhile. This is a good informative site so hopefully this post will help you a lot. So here is what everyone said and asked about dieting pills and other things I've added.
Comment: I've tried dieting pills in the past. I lost 5 lbs on the first day I started using them. But maybe it was because I was going to the gym. It helped by getting rid of my appetite and it lifted my mood. Even though I lost a little bit of weight, I started getting smaller.
Response: It could be that you were at the gym and that you lost 5 lbs. It could also be that the dieting pills everyone is taking to help loose weight might only be helping you loose weight; then you have to do the rest. It's just like other pills you might take. Ibruprofen, for example. It only helps stop the pain. Your body does most of it.
Comment: I really would like to use NV! Question is, how old do you have to be to buy diet pills?
Response: U.S.A. law says you must be 18 years or older to buy them. Ask someone you know that might be 18 or older and let them buy them for you. Pay them back or if you have no one, skip dieting pills unless you've done research on the effects they have. I wouldn't let anyone use them unless they know what the effects are.
Comment: Do you have any tips to prevent bloating? I drink and lot of water and a diet soda and I feel bloated.
Response: It's the diet soda that is clashing with the water and it makes you feel bloated. It's something in the diet soda that does it. I personally think diet soda is nasty and I don't drink it unless it's Root Beer diet. I think you should just stay with the many glasses of water for now, then drink diet soda seperately.
Comment: I want to purge but my parents are home and they know what I'm doing if the water is running freely. What should I do?
Response: Easy. Purge into the toilet. I don't recommend purging at all but they'll just think you went to the bathroom- just make sure you flush!
Comment: How can taking a shower cause you to loose weight?
Response: It doesn't cause you to loose weight; it burns calories off.
Comment: I've never taken them because I'm too scared. I took some green tea ones though and the helped suppress my hunger pains but they also made me really shaky. (probably because I took more then the recommended dose?) I have found something that is natural and works for me. Kind of like a supplument to diet pills. Drink a glass of lemon water with cayenne pepper and cinnamon in it every morning. The cayenne pepper suppresses your appitite and speeds up your metabolism as does the lemon water. the cinnamon helps give you energy and the smell makes you think better. it sounds strange but it really works! I found the taste isnt' so bad if you drink it warm and stire the ingrediants really well.
Stacker2 ~ works great for appetite, but will give you the jitters (which I liked). Lost 34lbs in just under 3 months. Zantrex3 ~ works great for appetite, energy; niacin content gave me hives the first week & crazy flushing about 30 minutes after taking. Lost 30lbs in 1.5 months. Stacker3 ~ works great for appetite, energy; I had a mild addiction to these and quit taking them when a friend-of-a-friend was found dead in her bath after doubling her Stacker3 dose (she'd been taking 6 instead of 3). She had a heart attack. HotRox ~ waste of money. NV/TrimSpa products ~ overall waste of money; I did notice an aversion to food - nothing ever sounded good. Hoodia ~ great for appetite (using X57 which is only $20 or so), but none of the feel-good ingredients. Lost 18lbs so far (since December). Metabolife ~ waste. Xenadrine (ephedra-free) ~ waste; I had heart palpitations. Metabolift (from TwinLab ~ I don't think they make it anymore) ~ it was the best product EVER. I'd lost 41lbs in 3 1/4 months. I actually couldn't wait to work out when I took this pill. Ephedra works really well IF YOU USE AS DIRECTED. I've used Dexatrim when strapped for cash (waste), diet teas (a.k.a. diarrhea teas), Kelp/B12 pills (will give you a great case of zits if you're sensitive to iodine...if shrimp makes you break out, don't use these products). I've used apple cider vinegar pills (waste) & grapefruit extract tablets (ditto waste). Xtralean from holland & barratt - they do work, in the sense that they give u loads of energy but too many can make you jittery.
Everlean from Superdrug - same as above but no jittery feelings. Zotrim-clinical trials say they work..something to do with satiety,,feel full for longer, less inclined to eat for longer..havent properly used them yet..so dunno. Adios - most reviews ive read say they dont work but i take them anyway.. pro plus caffeine pills - GREAT for wen u dont have energy or wen u wanna burn come extra cals..
Dieting pills only really make you feel fuller causing you not to eat as much. Therefore, you loose weight easily. How to keep weight off! No fast food or chain restaurants. Any restaurant that is a chain or a franchise that sells fast food produces their food in such a way that it will absolutely make you fat. You can actually eat french fries and cheeseburgers and lose weight, provided that the ingredients that you use are all organic and contain no chemical dditives. It is virtually impossible to eat food in a chain or franchise restaurant where the food has not been processed to last for years without spoiling. The food has to be produced as cheaply as possible for the companies to make money. They must add chemicals to make the food taste great and get you physically addicted. This food also has been produced to increase your appetite and make you fatter. Remember, these are businesses whose only objective is to make a profit. If the food tastes amazing, becomes physically addicting, increase your appetite, and makes you fat, the resaurant is assured of success. They are like drug dealers getting their customers hooked ont heir product. The customer can't get enough and becomes so addicted that they keep coming back for more. Thsi is the sad truth of what is happening in our food industry today. (Uhhh, DUH. This is a complete given. Fast food makes you fat. Fast food has incredible marketing schemes to get you hook. The additives in their food are completely unreal. It's nasty, calorie loaded and something we absolutely...at any cost, have to stay away from.) Eat organic apples all day. The old saying is true -- an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apples are loaded with fiber and nutrients; they normalize your blood sugar and decrease your appetite. You should eat at least one apple every day. The more the better. (Since apples are negative calorie foods, this makes since. I didn't know they were 'loaded with fiber' but it certaintly can't hurt since fiber helps you lose weight. And we could all use the nutrients!!) Eat only organic meat, poultry, and fish. One of the reasons you are overweight is because of the growth hormone put in meat and poultry. If you want to lose weight, eat as much meat and pultry as you like as long as it is organic, grass fed, ideally kosher, and most importantly, has not been given growth hormones. The fish you eat should not be farm raised. (This is important. If you pay attention to vegan advertisements you'd understand that mass "meat" farmers do inject their animals with growth hormones to make them grow bigger faster so that they will not have to pay to house the same animal over a long period of time. This does affect you because it makes you store and gain weight. I think the best route is to go vegetarian or vegan because organic meat is very hard to find.) Limit dairy products. If you are going to consume milk, cheese, butter, or any dairy products, eat only organic products that have not been pasteurized or homogenized. The dairy products should be labeled "organic and raw." It may be hard to find raw dairy products in some parts of the country. The next best option is organic, not homogenized, but that has been pasteurized. Your last option is organic that has been both pasteurized and homogenized. Ideally, if you want to lose weight, reduce dairy regardless of what you are getting. Definitely, absolutely, do not consume any dairy products that are not organic because they will have growth hormone in them and slow your weight loss. (Same concept as above girls!) Eat a big, huge salad at lunch and dinner. I don't care if your lunch is a cheeseburger, french fries, and a pint of ice cream. Add to it a big, huge salad and eat that first. You'll be amazed how you lose weight. the salad can contain anything you like as long as it is only vegetables, and they are organic. The salad dressing should be organic olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice, or organic vinegar. If you really want to speed the weight loss process, use organic apple cider vinegar. Add some organic sea salt, fresh ground pepper, or some garlic for taste. (Salads are usually negative calorie. This type of salad he's talking about is SUPER negative calorie and consuming it before a meal with help you eat less of the bad stuff! Breathe. Oxygen burns fat. Most people do not breathe enough to stimulate their metabolism and fat burning capabilities. There are several great videos which teach breathing techniques that are simple and quick to do, and that can help you lose weight faster. (Duh.) Add muscle. Muscle burns fat. When you add muscle through exercise you are increasing your body's metabolism. The best way to do this is yoga, Pilates, Chinese kung fu, or old fashion basic exercises. (I know a lot of these are just...given points, but sometimes we look over the most valuable tips.) Fast. This should be number one, but for most people this is the hardest. Going on a proper juice fast for twenty-one days will completely detoxify your body, flush fast cells, and reset your body's weight set point. It is one of the fastest ways to lose weight, and one of the most effective ways to change the body's set point so that you will not gain the weight back.
